¶ IT Gruppe-Anzeigesprache ändern
Log on to the Terminal Server.
Click the Start button.
In the menu choose „Systemsteuerung“ (Control Panel).
In the Control Panel click „Region“.
In the Region window, tab „Formate“ you see the current setting „Format: Deutsch (Deutschland)“ and examples for date and time.
Open the „Format“ drop-down list.
Select an English locale, e.g. „Englisch (Vereinigte Staaten)“ or another English variant.
Check the examples for Datum and Uhrzeit.
Click OK to save.
¶ Change the Windows display language
select „Spracheinstellungen“
Go to „Zeit und Sprache“ → „Sprache“.
- Under „Windows-Anzeigesprache“ (Windows display language) open the list and select „Englisch (Vereinigte Staaten)“ or another English variant.
- If English is not offered:
- Click „Sprache hinzufügen“ (Add a language),
- search for English, add it,
- then choose it as Windows-Anzeigesprache.
- Sign out and sign in again.
Now the Windows interface (Start menu, File Explorer, Settings, etc.) is shown in English, and your regional formats are set to English as well.
